Hello everyone,

Fairly new to the Bonneville world, but I have some experience with the 3800 Series II engines via the 1996 Camaro I've owned for 12+ years.

I've already used this forum to find information a few times and thought I'd sign up so I could join in the discussions and try to get some help finding parts.

I live in Ontario, Canada :canada: and am currently DDing a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi in Galaxy Silver Metallic with about 90k miles (145k km) on the clock.

So far I've done a few minor things myself like changing the air filter, cabin air filter, and installing new OEM gas cap. I also cleaned the MAF sensor.

I took it into the shop for a couple of leaks and ended up spending quite a bit on changing valve cover gaskets, intake and supercharger gaskets, injector o-rings, transmission lines, IAC, connectors, etc. That being said, it's currently running like a top on 94 Octane and I'm really enjoying the car.

Biggest downside is the handling, (feels a little squirrelly in the snow even with winter tires on) but I love everything else about the car and look forward to adding a few performance bolt-ons to the engine over the course of the next year or two.

I'm a moderator over at FTV6, but I'm looking forward to learning more about the Bonnevilles specifically on this forum.

Thanks,

-Derek (Namrepus28)
