New to the group here. I have a 2002 Bonneville SSEI. Just noticed when rolling downhill yesterday that my boost gauge shot up to 0psi. I had my foot on the brake, not the gas. I parked and let it idle when I got home and the boost gauge was jumping around erratically. I would normally think it's just the stepper motor in the dash, but you could hear a change in the way the car ran. Then, it shut off on its own. Anyone had something similar? If so, how was it fixed? Thanks!

Could be a vacuum leak in the boost control actuator or lines leading to it. Or the manifold air pressure sensor is going bad, or... the wiring to it.
