Post subject:  '03 SSEi AC Blower

Winter of '15 blower intermittent noise (sometimes a *dang* nuisance) but worked. Summer & winter of '16 no problems. I've never had to beat on the motor case etc. Spring '17 "NO BLOWER" so I checked and the car had already had an after-market installed, checked the PURPLE on the 3 wire connector and had B+ voltage so decided the motor had actually died. Ordered another after-market to match what was there so I could just do the motor/impeller. Received the replacement motor and before just installing I connected the motor to the 3 wire connector and still "no fan". That surprised me!!

I borrowed a Tech 2 and I've no DTC's in any module. The Tech2 shows the command percentage variable when selected from the dash control, compressor command is OK. Blower works in no function of heat, AC or defrost. I've no idea just what to do next.

If anyone actually has the FSM I'd appreciate a wiring diagram for the blower control.

A defective motor is certainly a maybe but I'd like to maybe approach this intelligently. What wires would I need to jump to a battery to confirm the blower motor actually does work. I've a RED & BLK that goes inside the motor and another BLK which is ground to a stud on the motor housing. I assume that maybe B+ to RED and BLK (that goes internally to the motor) to ground I might get HIGH BLOW. Thoughts? I've no jumpers here so I'll assemble a couple tomorrow likely to move forward.
