Hey,

I have a 03 SSEi and the drivers seat power works intermittently. It seems to always work when I get in the car for the first time but after you drive it for a while the controls on the side of the seat quit working and the memory seat on the door doesn't work either. I replaced the module under the seat and it didn't seem to fix it. It's a problem if someone else has to drive the car as I'm pretty tall. Any ideas?

I had a recent project car that had some of the wiring under the seat get tangled with the motor shafts under the seat and cause a short. The seat would work temporarily and when it would short out it wouldn't work at all. The module would reset itself over time and then begin working. Remove the 2 - 10mm nuts under the front of the seat to lift the seat bottom up to inspect the wires.
