I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section I'm new here. If it is let me know and I'll re-post it else where.
I have a 98 bonneville with manual heat/air settings (no digital readouts).
The blower motor stopped working.
I replaced the blower motor, the blower motor pigtail, the resistor (the one under the relay bundles), replaced the the relay, and made sure the 3 fuses in the interior as well as the maxi fuse were ok.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Here is the schematic. All that is left is the actual switch or you have lost a ground.

Thank you very much...do you happen to know how to go about getting to the switch?
Thanks again

Pull off the bezel that surrounds the radio and temp center. It goes all the way to the other side of the steering wheel. Just grab at the top and pull out.

Thanks All for the help, I think I have it...there was a broken ground wire to the relay. I'm putting it back together now but I did get the fan on through the relay.
One more question...what would cause overheating (the pigtail for the relay, the blower motor pigtail and the connector to the blower motor all melted. I've replaced all plus the resistor. Should I be looking for something else so I don't burn up another motor?
Thanks

Chances are the old motor started the whole mess. Melting is generally caused by excessive current draw. A arching ground could have also caused it.
