Hi All

I was driving yesterday and out of no where my DIC said i needed to calibrate compass. I did notice the other day when I started my car that the compass scanned though the directions. I never noticed that before. So yesterday I calibrated the compass did what I had to go came back started the car and it scanned though the directions again and seemed fine. Today on the way to work calibrate compass came on again.
What would cause this? and does it always scan though the directions when the car starts?

Is there anything in the trunk that's magnetic? I have found that when I had my sub and speakers in it would say calibrate compass for a few days but then it would figure itself out and be fine

Mine was doing that when I had a ton of crap in the trunk, and stuff right under the compass. Just keep driving, it will figure itself out.

I just put my old sub in my truck to take to storage a a couple days ago and forgot about it. Ill make to get that out of there. Wow always the little things.
