Hi all! When I got my car it had the security light on and was told the ignition was faulty. I replaced it with a regular, non chip, key set. I had planned to do that and just pull the security bulb. Question is: Other than the security system being disabled, will this cause any other issues? I have driven it about and the only issue I see is the security light on. I really don't want to bring it to the dealer for a $$$ chip key set. Thanks! |
