Year and Trim: 1997 Pontiac bonneville ssei

I just bought a 1997 bonneville ssei for $300 that I figured only needed some fuses replaced but I checked the ones under the drivers side and under the hood and they are all fine what could be the problem for the whole dash and ac to not light up or work.

hi, please check for power with a multimeter at the fuse for dash cluster -- so the car starts and runs ok?

The AC may need to be charged or repaired, it will not turn on if there is no refrigerant in the system. As for the cluster sometimes they go bad and need to be re soldered or just replaced altogether. But before anything check the ground busses under the carpet in both front footwells, those are known to cause issues when they get corroded.
