Year and Trim: 1988 Bonneville SSE
hey i have an 88 Bonneville SSE. every time i open the hood i look at the power steering reserve and it has a little fluid on the top of it. it keep wiping it off but it still comes back. any ideas?

Hi, you can check to see if the reservoir is overfilled or the cap seal is damaged allowing fluid to escape.

yeah its just slightly over filled but not much. should i try and remove it or just let it leak out?

Hi, sure you can remove excess fluid and get it to proper level and then see if the leak stops. I usually use a turkey baster to suck fluid out. Make sure it is clean and all water is wiped away. It must be completely dry and free of contaminants especially for brake reservoirs.
