I need new mounts for my 89 and was looking at all the usual sites and they all keep referring to with or without axle GX3. What is this and how do I find out? The mounts are a little different, so if no one knows, I will probably have to pull the old one out and let it sit until I get the new ones.

GX3 typically refers to the 3.33 final drive ratio transmissions and would be listed on the RPO label with everything else on the spare tire cover. I believe they put those in the SSE's more than anything, but you should check to be sure.

I know I do not have the 3.33 gears, but they were just referring to the axles having that designation. I did not know they used different axles.
