I have a problem with it closing from the sunroof position. It does not want to stop at the proper point, instead, it keeps going and starts to go into the moonroof position. Harofreak told me that it sounds like a bad motor and there is a way to calibrate it. Does anybody that this information? Is this more headache then replacement?

the headache is replacing it. does the unit make any grinding noise when you try to retract into the roof? THere is a way to re-time it, but it requires dropping the headliner. It lost timing because the track has more than likely developed a bad spot , and re-timing will not last long. I am in the process of doing a tech info article on repairing/replacing the sunroof assembly. Any work on it would require the dropping of the headliner though.

can you stop the roof in closed position? you do this by hitting the "other side" of the roof button.

I already sold him a track out of my 94 SSEi. So once they drop the headliner and replace the track, how do they re-time the motor?
