Hi there,
Goofy question, but I only get heat from the defrost setting or floor. Is there not a way to get heat to come out of the bi-level vents? Looked it up in the operator manual and the picture showed it blowing from that setting. Hmmm.

From what I remember on my '93 SSEi, heat is floor or defrost only for the electronic climate control.

FWIW, feel happy that you get good heat. Some of us are lucky to get "lukewarm".

Hmm. It's very odd why they didn't make this available for the auto control, they did for manual. Only time air blows out these vents is when the A/C is on. You're right, I am glad the heat does work pretty good otherwise, so I will be happy and fortunate for that. I awoke it from its winter nap as I managed to have the transmission in my Envoy dump 3rd and 4th gears.
