I have a 98 Bonneville SE with a 3.8L. My problem is when I am driving down the road my car will shut off with no warning and I will have to pull over to the side of the road. I turn the key back on and it just rolls over. The fuel pump turns on and I got power to everything. I will sit on the side of the road for 5 to 10 minutes then my car will start back up and the rest of the trip will be fine. The engine light is on and all it is reading is a O2 sensor (Sensor one bank one) and the PO74O TCC. It does not matter what the weather is it will have to take a break almost everytime I take it for a ride.

Sounds very much like the Ignition Control Module. Get one from a local salvage yard and see if it makes a difference. It's the piece under the coils with the wide electrical connector on it. You'll need a 5.5 mm socket and a 7 mm socket.

Crank sensors & ignition control modules are both known to cause this issue. If swapping the ICM doesn't cure the problem then you probably need a new crank sensor.
