Hi! My first try at this but i'll give it my best shot. My '99 bonneville has an a/c problem I'm having trouble with. This has the electronic climate control. The compressor is running and the line going to the cockpit area is ice cold but the cockpit controls do little. The air-flow can be directed only from the feet to the windshield, nothing in-between. It appears that I can get heated air from the ducts but not cooled air. Fan speeds vary with control. Before this problem surfaced the cruise control became intermittent. It will engage for a short period of time, maybe 5 minutes, but then not amount of button pushing or pulling or sliding can get it to engage again. It may work the next time the car is driven or maybe not. I know that earlier cruise controls were vacuum operated as were some a/c controls and I'm wondering if the two problems are connected.
