Turn signal broke. Took the steering wheel off. The arm connecting the windshield wiper lever and housing is snapped in half. I manually switch the turn signal cam for awhile then all of a sudden it gets stuck and won't budge. The cam still works but I can't find the reason the linkage isn't moving. I took the cam out and disconnected all of the wires except black, pink, and pink/green. I turn the car power on and everything is ok. I start reading the wiring diagram and make connections to test the turn signal lights before I permanently put them on a toggle. Purple and light blue/ brown and light blue; worked the front left turn signal. Both flashers were working (hazard and regular). Before I can test any other sides the instrument cluster lights go out. The gauges studder all the way down to off position. A rapid clicking comes from the passenger side air bag compartment area (I was thinking a relay). The A/C comes on and slowly turns off. I turn the power off. I check to make sure no open wires are touching. I turn the power back on, and all of the symptoms come back. I turned off the power and disconnected the ground on the battery. Reconnect the ground and try to turn the power on again. Everything comes on as it normally would. I sit for maybe 20 seconds and then the instrument lights flicker and dim. The symptoms come back again. I didn't make any new connections during that time.
The best I could come up with was a bad relay, so I decided to ask on here first since I don't really know how to diagnose a relay. Any help is appreciated.

Re: electrical issues
The clicking comes from a relay by the PCM. Fourth down from the top. I can not figure out what it controls from my manual any help would be appreciated.
The relay itself is not bad. Certain combinations of wires will stop the clicking. Light blue and brown; left front turn signal and turn flasher. Dark blue and brown; right front turn signal and turn flasher.
No wires connected and the battery is losing a charge. Electric locks no longer work. Starter will engage but will not turn over.
All wires in the manual are accounted for except black and orange. I have black and no orange. Manual says they go to cornering lamps. Black in the car connects onto the turn signal cam with the rest of the flasher/light wires.

Re: electrical issues
Been busy with school but had time to start tinkering with the car again.
Dark green wire is pulling .32 volts. Manual says dark green goes to right side rear lamp assembly. Went over to the right side rear lamp assembly, there is a dark green/white wire. That wire does not pull any volts.
Summary:
Dark green wire from turn signal assembly pulls .32 volts.
Manual says dark green is right side rear light assembly.
The wire at the light assembly is dark green/white and pulls no volts.
Car does not start, starter does not engage.
So can anyone help me figure out what that dark green wire is so I don't have to take the entire steering column off and trace it?
