The exhaust shielding on my 92 SE has come unattached from however it was held on. What holds these things on? It makes the car sound like complete *shoot*, and I just need some way to re secure it, whether its using new stock clips or not.

I wonder if the zip ties would work, then again I don't know how they'd stand up to the heat?

Between the exhaust and the car. Theres some under the cabin and more in back by the muffler. I don't know if that's a clear enough description...let me know

If it's attached to the car and not the exhaust itself, zipties might work. I've used sheetmetal screws and rivets to secure mine before.

I've used zip ties to replace the clip where the shielding curves around the gas tank. It's still working many months later.

I have the same problem with mine due to the Flowmaster with no resonator and it drives me nuts. I need to get under there and re-rivet two of the pieces together cause they are held on by rivets. I tried to bend them away so they wouldn't rattle anymore but that lasted about 5 mins! Lol!
