My Gear shifter had been off track for a few months in my 2003 SLE and I got the hang of knowing exactly where to pull and throw the shifter to get to my desired gear (P R N D 3 2 1 ) ... well recently while getting ready to throw the car into the reverse gear to reverse into my driveway I completely lost ALL connection between the shifter linkage cable and the actual gear shifter .. leaving my car in the 1 position which allowed me to only go forward so I had to set my parking brake and leave the car in my driveway ... so I need help repairing this problem !!! |

you can inspect the linkage that is directly under the brake master cylinder - see if you can reconnect. if you are very careful, you can shift it by hand to get it to a shop/ place to fix. |
