I have a 2005 SE with substantial right rear quarter damage. Available is a 2004 in need of a transmission. I understand there is some difference between the transmissions for each year model. Might this be nothing more than an electronics difference, that could be taken care of by swapping the Power Train ECM as well. I would consider just pulling the Sub Frame, suspension, engine and Trans from the 2005 and installing in the 2004 if all work. If I could find a 2005 in need of an engine and/or trans, that'd be even better. In New Jersey

Transmissions changed up a bit in 2003. 2004 and 2005 should be compatible without issues.
