I am currently getting parts together to do a complete intake manifold gasket job, and I just happened to stumble across ZZP's aluminum coolant elbows. I am just wondering are they worth it? Would there be any problems with using them? At first glance I am thinking they would make a great purchase as they are $10.99 on the site, and the Dorman plastic elbows are $5.99 at my auto parts store. However, my only drawback might be the thought of uneven thermal expansion, but what do you guys think? Is anyone else on here using these aluminum elbows? |

No problems at all, just make sure you get all of the plastic old ones out of their holes should they crack upon removal. These will never fail if installed properly. |

Thanks for letting me know. I am figuring on getting a TB spacer from them, so I thought I would get a 180 drilled thermostat and the alum elbows just for the convenience of a package. |

The TB spacer is a waste of money, don't do it. It doesn't do anything. |
