I am currently getting parts together to do a complete intake manifold gasket job, and I just happened to stumble across ZZP's aluminum coolant elbows. I am just wondering are they worth it? Would there be any problems with using them? At first glance I am thinking they would make a great purchase as they are $10.99 on the site, and the Dorman plastic elbows are $5.99 at my auto parts store. However, my only drawback might be the thought of uneven thermal expansion, but what do you guys think? Is anyone else on here using these aluminum elbows?

No problems at all, just make sure you get all of the plastic old ones out of their holes should they crack upon removal. These will never fail if installed properly.

Thanks for letting me know. I am figuring on getting a TB spacer from them, so I thought I would get a 180 drilled thermostat and the alum elbows just for the convenience of a package.

The TB spacer is a waste of money, don't do it. It doesn't do anything.
