I used the torque app to time it. I didn't go WOT, stopped at a little over 5k and I got clocked at 7.8. Is this normalish ? Tires are not the greatest...kind of eased it off the line but it still spun a little. Kind of a stupid question I know...Just want to know If that's normalish.

7.2 was rated if I remember correctly.

Actual time will vary though, the 7.2 gm rated is based on an everage of multiple cars. Mine will do a little under 7 sec if i get a good launch.
