Hi Guys:

I am trying to find OEM replacement seat heated seat covers for my 2001 SSEi drivers side as mine does not work and is worn badly, the controller is good .I seem to remember finding info. before on this site but I can't find it now that I have funds to fix the problem.

I've seen this question asked by others before... I seem to remember that there are no 3rd party OEM type leather seat replacements available, I've personally never seen them in my time here. You would have to replace the entire seat, we have a member Haro who could help you out as far as that goes although unless your close to him I assume shipping on the seats alone would be cost prohibitive. You might try looking at the local junkyard but that's always a gamble as to whether the seats are in good condition match your interior colors or even work at all from sitting outside x amount of time.... You could possibly order then from a GM parts dealer assuming you can find one that still has stock but expect to pay an arm and a leg and maybe another appendage...

You can buy the replacement heated pads. They go under the seat covers, and plug in to all the OEM wiring.

I would suggest getting a replacement seat cover set from haro with the heater elements in the seat covers. The replacement GM ones that go under the seat covers will work but the will not heat anywhere as well as the factory ones. Removing and replacing the seat cover is not too hard to do.
