I been searching but i can't find a deffinative answer. How do you identify which transmission is in your car. I know there is a bunch of different gear's and i need to know so i can start looking for a replacement tranny when this one goes out. any info would be great thanks.

There is a tag on the back of the transmission near the differential housing. You view it from under the car. Looks something like this.

Yours should be one of these:
A.T., FWD, w/o supercharger opt; 2.86 ratio (opt FQ3), ID PAB
A.T., FWD, w/o supercharger opt; 2.86 ratio (opt FQ3), ID PPB
A.T., FWD, w/o supercharger opt; 3.05 ratio (opt F83), ID PBB
A.T., FWD, w/o supercharger opt; 3.05 ratio (opt F83), ID PCB
