So, what's the secret? I've pulled it back some and can see what looks like tabs, but they don't move or disengage when I press on them. I'd really rather not break any tabs...

Year and Trim: 2004 GXP - plus a handful of other Bonnevilles
Its not an airbag cover, its the whole assembly. You have to remove the whole thing. There are 2 - 10mm nuts that you access through the zipper on the back of the seat. You will angle the rear of it out, and then a push in retainer holds the rest of it in. Pull it out.

Alright, thanks. I'll know for next time. Got it all back together now. I pulled the cover off the seat and found that there are no heat elements, even though it appears there are supposed to be. So, I put the project on hold until I can locate some heat pads.... *grumble*...

The heat elements are built into the covers. You won't be able to see them, except for the wires coming out.

Oh, wow...ok. Not sure what I was thinking when I bought these replacement ones, then... Hmmm... I'm sure you told me they were not heated.

I'll have to look into getting heated ones, I guess.
