Hey guys, just got my oil changed and my coolant flushed and now my "low coolant" light keeps coming on, randomly at time, even though I know its full (I've had it checked multiple times). This is the first time I've had this issue so I was wondering if you thought it was just a sensor or something else. Also, if it is the sensor, do you know roughly what the repair would cost?

I have no doubt this isn't a random coincidence though...

Thanks in advanced.

I don't know how hard it is, but iv heard that cleaning the sensor will help that.

If you have confirmed actual coolant level and it has remained at that level for some time, it is a standard issue Dexcool gunking up the ECT sensor. Remove and clean or replace.

Yeah I went back in about a week later and had them top everything off, but the light still comes on.
How would I go about cleaning it? Can I just clean out the coolant tank with soap and water?

Thanks
