OK, I'm sure this has been discussed before, and I did find a little info searching, but I'm looking for some info on front bumper covers from any of you that have done front end body work. I recently bought a 2005 SE with a messed up front bumper cover. I'm finding mostly SSEI and SLE covers in the yards around here, and I prefer the look of them anyway. My question is what all is different that I should pull at the yard? Obviouslythe cover and foam will be different, but should I be pulling the steel reinforcement also? I assume the center mounted fog lights just bolt to this reinforcement? I'd rather not pull my car apart until I have the replacement parts ready to go on.

I believe the only differences are the length of the fog light wiring, and the shape of the foam that sits between the cover and the actual bumper beam. Other than that, it bolts up.

splash sheilds are also different (currently having the issue of finding them and a bumper cover for sle and ssei personally so i made them from duct tape and cardboard)

So I take it the difference is just in the front where the inner fenders meet the bumper cover? If that's the case I'll just have to find a car with an intact front end and pull the cover, reinforcing bar, and both inner fenders. Although finding a car with an intact front end is turning out to be more difficult than I thought. 8 yards around me either don't have a 00-05 Bonneville at all, or they have one that's wrecked in the front.
