I've been thinking for a long time about painting my rims on the 98 a gunmetal color with a silver lip. I did a PS and I'm not quite sure it will look good anymore, what do you think?

**Updated the poll and PS pic since mine sucked, thanks bonnevillian!**

i think it would look good. not to shoot down your ps skills, but theres no depth, contour and the color is a little off(doesn't show any shadows or shapes in the rim). basicly it doesn't give you a true perspective of what it will actually look like.

I thought there was a green one like yours with gunmetal stock spokes I really remember liking.

I will probally do a machined lip on mine.

to get it to work i think you would need tint and get rid of the chrome trim. maybe tinted tails too.

That other photoshop put me on the fence, I like them both. I wanted to get tint for my birthday but my dad shot that idea down, but if I finally get a job maybe I could get some this summer since it'd be on my dime then. I've been wanting to tint the tails but I don't know if the cops around here would like that, maybe just tint them slightly. I kind of like the chrome, but I think I'd look good if I painted the rims, slightly tinted the tails, and got some tint. I'll update the poll...

Even if I do paint the rims it would be a few months, I have some rust on the front fenders and quarter panels I need to tackle first. And that would give my car some cool down time for the cops before I did the tinted windows and tails since she got some attention recently. :-$ Plus she needs a detail :)

If anyone has the 5 stockers painted, post up some pics for me!
