Did the 2001 SLE model come with the bose speakers like the SSEI? The SSEI is a 2000 model (parts car). |

Nevermind. Searched a little more and found my answer. Next question is, is there a noticeable improvement by swapping out the delco speakers for the bose or not worth the work? I assume it is a direct swap with very little work but from past experiences, I've learned things that seem easy usually aren't. |

GM Installed an external Bose amp in the 2000-01 SSEi and an external Monsoon amp in the SSEi/GXP from 2002-05. I can't say for sure if the Bose speakers are impedance matched to work (as intended) with the amp built into the radio that is used with non-SSEi/GXP vehicles. The rear shelf speaker connectors are the same. |

To the best of my knowledge, Bose speakers are 1 ohm. You shouldn't use them with a non Bose system. |
