Ok so im putting in my double din touch screen HU in my 2000 SSEI, i want to make sure i get the right harness. the deck and the speaker grills do not say bose anywhere, the bottom of the speaker says Bose, i assume this means it is a full bose amplified system. Usually they will say bose or monsoon on the deck and the grills. i assume i will need the adaptor GMOS-09 (for factory amplified cars) rather then the GMOS-05 (non amplified cars). Im getting ready to order the parts but don't wanna have to jack with exchanges.

all 2000-01 ssei's have bose. the GMOS-9 is one harness and the Pac C2r-gm32r is another. I have the Pac, samzgxp used the metra in his gxp and he had to correct the wiring slightly to make it work so be prepared for it not to work correctly out of the box.

This is definatly not my 1st rodeo but What a frickn pain in the Ass replacing the deck. Word to anyone who is going to install a deck, pay someone to do it. the wiring harnesses alone are ~2ft long and the design of the stock Door and lock setup is a POS. looks like im going to get it all stuffed in but what a pain in the ass. the stock deck is a snap to slide in and out but becomes a headache to replace with anything but stock.

Bought the wrong antenna adaptor also (so frustrated last night) I got 40EU10 in sted of 40VW10 luckally best buy has one in stock.
