Well, here I am again, asking for your help.

I had hoped to do this project on my own and have a nice write up for the club on how they can perform the addition of remote start to their cars, but I am stuck in the preparation phase, and I wanted some club input before I start.

I have 6 wires I need to connect to the ignition system in the car. For the life of me, I cannot find a pin-out on the ignition switch connectors. I have not torn my dash open to look, but from what I can tell, these are the connections I have to make:

GM Wire------------------- Viper Wire
Pink (IGN1+) ---------------Pink (Ignition 1 Input)
White (IGN2+)--------------Red/White (Polarity Feed - Ignition 2)
Orange (ACC1+)------------Accessory Output (Supposed to be connected to HVAC power feed)
Brown (ACC2+)-------------Red/Black (Polarity feed for Accessory/Starter relay)
Yellow (Starter Engage)-----CUT – Green on switch side, Violet on Starter Side

Do these connections sound like the ones I should be making? Any and all input is appreciated.

This is from a competitors site but it will help you locate the wires. I've installed 5-6 remote starts and alarms and so far this site has helped.

Just input your car. Hope it helps.

oh yeah, i only refrenced that site for the vehicles wiring. make sure you use the viper wiring schematic that came with your system.
