What's the difference in these?
Is there some sort of performance differenc or are they essentially the same thing?

No! No! Not the Secret Weapon! Someone decided to put a secondary tube inside a "cold air intake." It does nothing but induce the resistance of the inside and outside walls of the inner duct, and there's absolutely nothing good about it. It's a piece of poop. Thank you so much for asking here before strongly thinking of a purchase.

Comparing the Secret Weapon to an Intense FWI is like comparing a professional athlete to a cheap pair of headphones, respectively. They're totally unrelated in performance. They're priced similarly, but it's only because some people who don't know better will pay that much for a Secret Weapon (herein "Poop"). A Poop doesn't even have a good filter on it. Any flow benches done on the Poop cannot account for real world factors like the thing not working properly.

EDIT: Buy my new product!

That's hilarious!!!

Gutted air box if you're cheap, or FWI.

My gutted airbox showed a max IAT of 86* on a run I did yesterday. Ambient was about 70*

The Intense design is optimal.

Really? What does your CAI look like? Where is your IAT mounted?

With my INTENSE FWI, I still see around 10*F above ambient. I have the IAT mounted in the coupler right next to the TB. (I'm guessing the air is heated by then)

With my GAB, I see about 10* over ambient, no matter what the engine temp.

with my fwi i see usually 5 or so above ambient when moving. like you said that's due to the IAT being right over the headers in your case, and the throttle body which has coolant flowing through it, etc. I've been meaning to move mine.
