What is the difference between using in my NA 3800: (which option for me would make more sense and less of a headache):

L36 MAF with the L67 TB, or
L67 MAF with the L67 TB

other than this and the other few mods I have had done, she will remain "stock" for now. Only other future mod I am planning is YT 1.9 rockers/rods setup.

remember, I'm an idiot when it comes to this subject matter, so please be courteous.
Thanks in advance!!!!!

I would get a day where you and kyle can tune, then swap the L67 TB and MAF then have him install the appropriate tables, then be done w/ it. Your L36 MAF isn't gonna know what is going on with the added flow of the L67 TB, and won't be right.

so if he just uses his old MAF table from his Ei, that should do the trick?

I can only assume so. That would be a question for someone who has done this swap.

He'll need an adapter. I think ZZP makes one.

I thought adapter plates were only needed if going to an N* TB. The L36 and L67 look identical.

No they don't... check the inlet/outlet diameter.

So he does not need an adapter?

Because I only remember N*'s needing them.

I was thinking I'd just use my old stock SSEi L67 MAF curve and tune from there.

From my recollection, he will need to either run an adapter plate, or fill the pockets on the L67 TB with an epoxy, sand it flat, and then, just MAYBE, it will seal up. I don't recall about the coolant ports. I think 95nasta has an epoxy filled L67 TB.

I had one filled with weld, then ground out the material to make it match the L36 manifold. The guy that has it hasn't bolted it on yet. I don't know when he will get around to it.

You will absolutely want a tune.

here it is.

I'm right now mimicing 95naSTA's L67 T/B (with a couple differences, such as making it fit my '04 MAF on a '97 L67 T/B).
I'm actually done with all the Dremel work and just prepping it to pretty it up some (polished the inside, now I am prepping to paint the exterior). JB Weld works WONDERS for this project, easy to work with and makes a very solid bond!

Fun little project, I plan on bolting mine on next spring with a bunch of mods and a tune.....

Is this the correct spacer Jovan would need?

No spacer is needed. All the info excluding adding a vac port which isn't needed in his case is described in my link.

Well he doesn't want to plug the coolant ports w/ epoxy. I thought he had to?
