Well my 1998 pontiac ssei needs some performance upgrades. I need some ideas. I would love to put a chip in it. Whats the best name brand i can use? I also am considering a K&N cold air intake. How much horsepower will it add if i do? And finally i want a better sounding engine. What exhaust tips or system is the best? Thanks :???:

Most chips are useless.. Depending what type you get. If you get a chip for air flow, the car will 'learn' that it's there and try to compensate itself back to default values anyway, making the chip useless.

I would start with downpipe and intake then follow up with a PCM reflash then a pulley swap. look here for parts. Obviously i would suggest any tuneup/maintence items be done before anything else. ZZP has alot of great parts for 3800's, intense has a few bonneville specific things that ZZP doesnt. I have a ZZP Downpipe, tune and pulley.
