I got the opportunity to see a pretty unique event today - the Mitsubishi Motors Grand Tour, which was a road rally to celebrate 40 years of Mitsubishi Motors in the UK, and was open to Mitsubishis made between 1974 and 2001.

The rally started at an airfield near Cirencester and 9:30am, then they apparently were going to Silverstone for lunch before heading back to Cirencester. This wasn't a public event as such, but I got in touch with the organiser, who told me the best place to spectate was at the first checkpoint in Bourton-on-the-water - so that's where I went.

The cars didn't hang about - as soon as they went through the checkpoint they were off! However, I did manage to get some photos, and although they're not the kind of cars we usually discuss on this forum I thought you guys might find them interesting...

Love those old Starions, want one so bad. The Diamante's weren't bad either. I think Mitsubishi will be around for a long time. They've got a good following.
