Took the G8 to our good buddy Dyno Brian last Sunday to get some baseline numbers. Not to shabby for a stock car but look for these numbers to go up quickly :)

302.3 rwhp 318.4 rwtq

Sweet. You still gonna be happy with "only" 550 WHP?

EDIT: Wow. Look at that torque curve!!! Midrange is flatter than a table.

Comes out to around 370-375 CHP I'd think, when taking into account drivetrain loss. Not bad at all!

We usually figure 20% drivetrain loss for an automatic so that would make it about 377. Just a bit higher than the 361 GM states.

Regular or premium? Has it made a difference in Intese's eyes?

89 Octane. Scott's baseline was 292 SAE with 87 but his was an 08. Doesn't look like there is any difference in the tune between the two years so either my car is above normal or the 2 points of octane made a 10 rwhp difference. My scans shows a couple of blips of 2 degrees of KR in the 3rd run when the ECT was 212 and the car dyno'd 2 rwhp less.

How many miles? Gen IV's wake up nicely the more miles they have. After 10k they've definitely got more than they left the factory with.
