We just restored our 1953 MM ZB, tune up, new belt, fixed hydraulic leak, changed rear end fluid, sandblasted and painted. New muffler, Intake tube, cleaned and added oil to oil bath air filter, etc. My dad bought it ~7 years ago, at an auction, for $1850, and had been looking for one for 3 years before that, because his dad had one when he was a kid, and he wanted another. One day we had a guy pull up and offer us $3500 for it, same condition as when we bought it, LOL. They have really gained value, and my dad was really glad he bought that one when he did.

Anyways, on to the pics.

We have 2 problems remaining. The spring for the seat is supposed to be red, not yellow, so we have to paint it, and the front tie rod is hitting the tire, which isn't too hard to fix.

BTW, all pics were taken with our new Canon Rebel XTi, with a 18-55mm lens. Excellent camera, I'm hoarding it from my parents, LOL.

Never heard of MM myself, but that's a nice rig for sure.

I'd feel guilty driving it for sure!

Meh, It's an old tractor, it was meant to be used, and it will still be.

Nice resto! I have never heard of MM either, my dad had an old Farmall a few years back when we were into raising tobacco, lets just say it needed a lot of tlc.

I'm with BonneMe, I'd feel guilty for putting her in the field! Congrats to your dad for finding what he was looking for and getting in the shape that it is now! Great work!

Thanks, we didn't do the paint, but we did everything else.
