I mean Murphy's law of course lol.

For the past 3.5 years to take my Buick off the road, I had bought a ferd escape. It wasn't too bad and I liked it alot until this past Black Friday. Before then, I just had the typical intermittent misfires and other stuff that added to the list of grievances that made me want to push it off a cliff. Well, Murphy decided that I needed a bit more fun in the way of a transmission failure at 133k miles.

It wasn't all bad though, after waiting an hour for the tow truck to get me to a local Chevy dealership, I got something much better A 08 Silverado Crew Cab W/T 4x4. Pictures will be forthcoming due to not being on a computer. I liked the simplicity and the fact that it is a new blank canvas. I have a few things already planned out that I want to do, it will just be a matter of time now.

if, its 2005 escape, that class of ford had wrong plugs installed at factory - good you got rid of it!!

From what I had understood, it was hit or miss in very early build escapes. But the coils had a nasty habit of threatening to damage the pcm when they were failing. I think I had moisture in the pcm besides the trans issues.
