maybe its just my browser, but the "forum" isn't the full width of the page. it has about 10% of the screen on either side as just white bars. any way to eventually make things wider? everything looks great right now, but it almost makes me feel like i'm reading through a crack in the wall :).

I agree. That's the only thing i don't like about the new setup. Doesn't support 1280x1024 resolution.

Was this an issue before as well? We are using the same template/layout as before.

From the opposite end of the spectrum, for those of us with small screens, and poorer eyesight, using 800 x 600, you have to scroll horizontally to read the posts. Didn't it used to adjust for screen settings, except for pictures or links?

Interesting. There was a small change made to square up the header. I'm thinking now that it may have made the forum more rigid. I'll look into it.

On my 1680x1050 setup, about 50% of the screen is wasted with white space. Not lovin' it.

Pontiac Bonneville Club 1.0 fit perfectly in my screen.

I'm on 1920x1200... lots of white space. at least it's centered now, it was left justified before.

I'm aware of this- but this is what it looks like if we stretch it out.

In this aspect, it's a lot prettier to do it this way.
This needs to be worked on, I'm not denying that but, the main goal was to get something working so you guys weren't forum less for a week.

Better miss a forum for a few days and have it still needing work then miss it for a few weeks.

what if we scratch the GXP on the right all together? I'd rather have a correctly functioning forum then have its looks hold it back.

I'm finding it frustrating just browsing with half the screen like I am.

that would be ideal, IMO, if it could be done.

its cuz Rags picture is wider than the forum. The forum adapts to it.

But in Jim's case, if ALL the topics are like that, thats funky.

They're all wide for me too. I'm on a proxy now btw ~ Apparently the new dns worked for me last night, but not today.
