I am troglodyte when it comes to computers.

Unless you run a webserver on a dedicated IP address, nope.

ford truck enthusiasts has this reputation function where they can rep a member for a good/smart post and it shows up on their page: lets non gear-head type members be seen as helpful

I'll look into some of those. Also, the post counts are displayed under your profile widget in the upper right of the portal page. portal.php

Yeah there used to be a count, now all mine says is "View new posts l View your posts" without a count, before it looked like "(83) View new posts l View your posts" am I missing something?
Thanks again.

It is missing form the main forum right now, but it is on the portal now with the new portal version. I will look into reviving it on the forum pages as well.

An idea that I have been pondering about is having a section designated to how to videos. Mighty Car Mods has a nice web page and they put together videos based off what the members request. I would like to see how to videos for replacing parts. It is easier to comprehend what is going on if I can see it.

Car care tip of the month on home page. I've seen references to it, but never saw it

.pdf versions of the CSMs would be nice. The V4 muscle bike forum I frequent has them. Might come in handy? I know some members have electronic versions of the CSMs.

How about a map so we can see where other members are located. I don't mean giving details like addresses, but town/city, state and continent - there are plenty of overseas members.

We use to have a map like that, but it was removed in the last major update to the forum due to lack of support from the plug-in creator and PHPBB community. It was popular and if support ever returns for it we could definitely add it back in.
