| Sounds like there's a leak. Dex is known to oatmeal up once it's introduced to air. Most likely there's a leak that led to air in the system. It'll probably take 3-4 good flushes and a couple weeks of running the car to get all the oat out. |

| This is only my opinion and not trying to start anything here, but I'm more apt to listen to experts that rebuild and race their transmissions vs someone who works on mill machines when it comes to cooling and it's effects on a transmission of a car. | 210k? IMO, 4t60e transmissions have between a 150k-200k mile lifespan, and I think it might be going. If you don't have the money now to fix it, I'd stay off the go-pedal and buy an adjustable tranny modulator and set that thing to high. | Overcooling is possible. Intense suggested to me that I not abuse the trans until operating temp of about 160F was achieved. Too cold is too cold and it sounds like you may have too large of a cooler or a bypassed radiator cooler/preheater. A 4T65 runs a lot cooler than it's hot headed 4T60 predeces... |

| I have 95, 97, 98 and 99 firewall connectors mapped out by cavity for the B'ville if you decide to use one of those engine harnesses. | One plug isn't enough. Many have seen detonation on only one or two cylinders, I know it's cold and still recommend pulling all six. |

| At $1100 it would have to be in 100% rust free perfect shape. Being that you save on labor and the typical L36 in my parts runs about $500 (I would always want a warranty on an L36), You'd be into the ar for $1,700 after motor install and misc things like oil and coolant if you dont' pull the upper ... |

Another consideration is that since you were running low octane fuel and most likely getting your share of KR, the plugs may have damage from the predetonation.
