It would take quite a bit of noise to cause KR from an intake that is connected via rubber couplers etc. Once you look over Regals you can understand why JMB is popular. There's no perfect direct route. |

For every 10 F drop in temp, it will double the life of your trani. You are trying to say that if a person lowers there trans temp by 40 degrees they with quadruple the life of the trans? :bhuh: I'm kidding. Blackhawk wasn't a believer in changing fluid on his Bonnie and he sold the car with... |

It's odd you see this issue on both your cars. Can't say it's true on all 92-95's though, my 95 had zero slip with stock 2.8 or aftermarket 2.5 pullies. The 95 I picked up later and resold quickly has no slip issues either. Not sure why that is..but it would seem GM wouldn't engineer in slip. :???: ... |

Take a another look at the FSM Brad. Remember 97 FSM was the worst FSM ever..copied from the previous year and attemtped to be written in a different format. Check every place you can find a sender reference, especially the wiring schematic page. 99 FSM has it on page 8-613 Instrument panel, gauges ... |

Most will never need it. It is for when you are building heavily and have a pulley small enough that the belt slips upon rapid accelleration. Even at my level I don't experience any slip. GP tensioner/front idler are different and I could see where they would get more slip than the H body belt confi... |

Looks like a slight improvement but still a heck of a lot of engine movement. :eek2: It must be that blasted front shock mount. Such a sloppy design. :angry7: You mix urethane as well as you mix FRP. :bhuh: Front trans mount is modified and does not allow the same lifting of the motor as the... |

Setup a rig to try quantifying the difference in order to prove out the mod via data. Constants are the vehicle and area were not changed during the two tests. Amount of power should have been administered better via rpm. Front trans mount is modified and does not allow the same lifting of the motor... |

Stock pumps from the supplier I used are around $40 and the high flows are around $80. Been 2 years on both the car and truck without a complaint. Best $120 for two new pumps I ever spent. |

And plus, Sonoma's was a HD trans, wingman's isn't. A diff and cover can be had pretty easy. That's the only difference HD to regular besides gearing. Many W body guys go 12's and some 11's on stock transmissions. Sure you'll put a lot of abuse on it using slicks and shooting for the moon, but it d... |

That is called a daisy chain. It is frequently used on the modules that the pcm and DLC both see. One method to get around it temporarily would be to run wiring directly from the pcm pins to the DLC and then put a seperate switch coming off those wires to the remainder of the daisy chain. This shoul... |

A DHP can program the 96 as well.
You may want to make a couple calls to ensure they don't perform a visual inspection. I was surprised to learn that during the plug in only test in my state they recently began visual emission controls inspection. |

P0171 is a no fun code. When you cleaned at the battery end of the cables did you remove the boots and look at the cable itself for corrosion going down under the sheathing of the cable? After cleaning both ends and noting corrosion going down into the cable, my issue was resolved only after I chang... |

Look down at it when you friend hits the throttle. If the metal of the engine side mount nearly contacts with the metal of the body side..it's a sign that the mount is bad. Or if the mount appears to be in poor shape overall. |

Keep in mind that most of the Magnaflows seem to set check engine codes in the 00+ cars. Your O2 monitoring appears to be much tighter than pre 2000 cars. Some have found cats that will work w/o setting a code, unfortunately they are more expensive to start. Seems that there's a toss up. Spend on th... |

What pressures did you have at the rail before and after the pump change? And what voltages did you have before and after with your hotwire kit? |
