I finally took care of it, and also did my intake gaskets and replaced the upper, tensioner, and valve cover gaskets. Believe it or not, the nearly 20 year old coolant elbows came out unbroken and still felt sturdy! https://i.imgur.com/ZUeVhnM.jpg Those are not original, they are the Dorman plastic... |

Dealer would have the Tech2. Any high end shop would have a Snap-On or similar that could do it. Autozone can only read codes, no programming. |

You can temporarily bypass security by pressing the Volume, Seek Up and #5 at the same time, but you will need to get it unlocked with a scan tool. |

You need to source your own ignition power for an aftermarket radio.
I have no idea where your draw is coming from, you never mentioned the results from disconnecting the front and rear fuse blocks.
Yes I have OEM radios for sale. |

The radio and fobs are two completely different systems that work independently of each other.
Did you just purchase the car or swap radios yourself? The anti-theft feature can only be unlocked with a dealer level Tech2 or similar high end scan tool. |

No tire pressure sensors ever in the Bonneville. They use the wheel speed sensors to detect if there is a flat by the diameter of the tire.
An 18" wheel is almost always going to be heavier than a 16" wheel. The 18" GXP wheel weighs 24lbs, not sure about the steels. |

Lots of people have upgraded to GXP wheels or any aftermarket wheel. A simple Google search will give you ideas to what they would look like. As long as you get a tire that is similarly sized you will have no issues with the instruments. 235/50R18 on the GXP will be similar to your 226/60R16 on your... |

Disconnect it from the throttle body first, then untwist the cable from the module and then remove the cable from the ribbon connector. |

You'd be testing for continuity on each individual wire, but if its an intermittent issue, than it might be a partial break where the circuit fails dependent on temperature or position. Easier to just replace the harness and be done with it. |

You shouldn't have to do a security relearn after replacing an ignition switch, unless you replaced, damaged, or screwed up in the installation of the Theft Deterrent Exciter Module. It should have stayed attached to the cylinder when you pulled it out of the switch. Did you run into any issues? htt... |

Crank and Cam sensors rarely fail at the same time. It would make more sense that the wiring harness was bad. Since those 2 sensors are the main control for spark control, I'm assuming you have an issue with that harness or the ground and you're losing spark. The harness is small and easy to replace. |

You're barking up the wrong tree with the grounds... grounds.png You could start by isolating which fuse box its coming from. Disconnect the battery cable going to the under-hood fuse box. That is where the starter would be getting its power from. If no change, disconnect the cable going to the rear... |

You must be reading your meter wrong. It should be limited to 10 amps. 36amps is a HUGE load for nothing running.
You've removed every single fuse from both fuses boxes and it never dropped? |

You simply need to do a parasitic draw test. Hook your multimeter set to amps in line of the negative battery terminal. Close the latches on the rear doors while keeping the doors open (use a screwdriver). Wait for the electronics to sleep (usually a minute or two). Normal draw is 50 milliamps or le... |

Remove all 6 spark plug wires from the top of the coils, leave the wires hanging. Have someone help you try to start the car while you watch the coils. You should see nice blue zap coming from each coil grounding out to itself. The only think you could eff up would be trying to touch the arc, it wou... |
