Maybe try lifting it on some jackstands and then run the wheels a little to see if you can create the same noise, and then try to locate it?

I believe those plastic things are there to hold the o-rings on when you pull the injectors out. You should be ok with them missing as long as you remove the o-ring that is still in the head.

Nice tutorial Hans!

Couple things:
You need some new tools! LOL
Would have been a good idea to replace the sock filter on the bottom of the unit, cheap insurance.
Also, anytime you have fuel pressure at 0, prime the prime a few times before trying to start it, should fire right up then.

What in the world did you do? You don't need a tech2 to display the correct mileage on the cluster, you need a tech2 to display the correct mileage on the PCM, no matter what the cluster says.
