the P0361 more than most times ends up being a P1361.. The EGR code needs to be dealt with.. But from what you describe it seems as if you could have a bad TPS... On a 94 this is not adjustable.. The PCM needs the TPS to be 100% good for the trans and fueling to be correct.. Your fuel mileage should...

#2, #4 and #5( Different PCM same result ) are pretty much ruled out.. I replaced that Bank 1 knock sensor and it made no difference so its looking like #1 may be my issue.. But I will replace the rear Knock sensor as well, Also I will run new circuits for both of the knock sensors from the PCM all ...

Has anyone dealt with this code? Or the knock sensor circuit? I have been getting Knock sensor circuit codes on the van... I'm thinking the rear knock sensor has failed or there is a break in the circuit for the knock sensor.. What I get is Flat timing, and at times the timing will be all over the b...

I have used Monroe for a long time... I liked the Monroe Matic Plus.. I have Monroe Sensatrack's on there now and don't care for them.. They are too soft for me, they ride the road really good but are not what I wanted.. I wish Monroe still made the Reflex for these cars.. I would recommend the KYB'...

I was thinking tread wear.. I think you'll be at 320-400 for the wear rating.. These are generally a softer rubber with good grip..

Now you have an F41 Grandpa car that has tricks up its sleeve :beerchug:

Those Falkens are very grippy.. I have driven a few cars with them and found them to be a good all season High Performance tire..

Whats the wear rating for those Falken tires?

Like it was said the gauges are simply a rough reading of what the engine is doing.. I know on my 03 the Dash can display 200F when the engine is really at 185F.. and I have seen it say what looks like 210 at 190..lol And the battery voltage looks off a little too.. Say it might display 15v when its...

Rachael I'm glad you are both ok.. This has been a long running problem with the 92-99 H body cars.. and there were reports with air bag deployment with these... I think having the air bad module under the passenger seat may not have been such a good idea, but maybe the designers at GM thought that ...

That happens from time to time with them.. In that case the 60e logic has no idea the car is moving.. So both shift solenoids are off leaving you in 3rd gear..

The only good thing is that electronically the 60e is pretty simple..lol

The alternator should put out 14.5 volts pretty much all the time in the 00+ bonnevilles.. Did they tell you the amperage the alternator was putting out? Your alternator should put out 100+ amps with ease.. A heavy drain like you have could be due to a stuck relay keeping something on.. When you shu...

Also... The Buick has the granny steering rack... It should be a 3.1-3.2 turns lock to lock... The SSEi of the same year would have been a 2.7 turn lock to lock..

Its funny my van came with sport steering..

Well you're close to my neck of the woods...LOL Just curious, is the temp gauge getting close to 200F ? It shouldn't take 30 minutes for it to heat up, its possible that the thermostat is sticking open.. There are a few things that can cause the PCM to revert to 3rd gear and or no TCC apply... But t...

The 95 bonneville will not act the same as a 96-99 with the MAF unplugged... The 95 is heavily dependent on the MAF as it does not use a MAP sensor..

Do check all of the tune up basics.. As well its not uncommon to see not so friendly numbers with cold weather and winter blended fuels..
