I know it is easily flammable. The early drag racers used magnesium for their wheels (hence *mag* wheels) and if the brakes got to hot sometimes the wheels would violently combust!

What's wrong with your current cam cover? Warped or cracked? Or does it just need refinishing?

It's not worth it on a daily driver. ZZP's kit is basically all parts you can get at a junkyard, plus maybe some gaskets and stuff. Yes, your fuel mileage would drop, because it's putting a lower ratio (higher number) gear into your car. It makes your 2.93 final drive ratio a 3.29 final drive ratio....

You've never changed your Fuel Pressure Regulator? Those cars were recalled years ago because the FPR would leak raw gas into the vacuum line, then when you went to start it it'd blow the plastic intake manifold up. You can call your GM dealer with your VIN# and they can see if the recall was ever p...

I'd do a pan drop and try and record how many quarts come out. It should be 7-8. Then refill with the proper amount.

Do you seem to be having any transmission problems?

No one on this forum is going to be able to give you a number that is even remotely close. Then there's the fact that you have to market the item and get your information out to those people, many of whom won't find you. To address your point about GM recalling the item: Never in a million years is ...

You need to redrill and tap the block, as you can see the new studs are much larger and coarse thread. They incl...
