You cannot use an oil pressure sender for fuel. It won't hold up to the solvents in the fuel.
Adding a fuel pressure gauge will do nothing for you unless your'e running an AFPR like I am. |

... This is a 5-minute diagnosis that should have been done a month ago. Thanks for making this clearer. Before I was thinking the rubber was in between the front and rear HB faces and I couldn't find it. The Rubber is in tact on the front face with no deterioration or cracks. No doubt about it tho... |

I've been using most of these tricks since my F4 Phantom days. Many of the fasteners were 'blind', and required a mirror and a tool, leaving no hand free to hold the fastener. Even a small piece of tape over one of the 'flats' of the socket will be enough to hold one of Ed's tiny nuts. |

Even the SSIC would allow you to drop a couple tenths on the pulley diameter. My custom 1-off home built intercooler on the ZiLLA was designed to be about 80% of the SSIC efficiency, and I dropped from a 2.55 to a 2.0 with no problems, and that's with the M62 creating more heat than the M90 does. |

Unless you're going with a cam or rockers, porting the heads may actually hurt performance rather than help. |

Every battery becomes more prone to that as they get older. What's not happy about Damien's attitude? |

With the belt off, the HB should not turn BY HAND. Don't expect rocket science. It should be rigid. Visually inspect the face of it for cracks in the rubber around the outer perimeter just under the edge of the belt grooves. This is a 5-minute diagnosis that should have been done a month ago. |

I'm the author of that website, and I put quite a bit of research into it. Research I've never seen done before. You should be even more concerned about replacing the UIM with a Dorman or APN unit, and installing aluminum-framed LIM gaskets. |

I can guarantee you that the height adjust on your car was originally cable driven. If it's not, someone swapped it at some point as I stated above. I've been into far more of these cars than you, and for many, many years. 92 and 93 were absolutely mechanical in adjustment from the factory. Pull you... |

Not unless someone added air to the front. Sorry to say, even if they 'pumped them up' in the rear and cut the system, it would never stay that way without the ELC system working for more than 2 days at the most. I'm betting someone re-plumbed the system to fill from the utility outlet in the rear. ... |

Please try to use punctuation and proper sentence structure. Your post is pretty frustrating to read. It will gain you pretty much nothing. You should replace your upper intake manifold with a Dorman or APN, and replace your lower intake gaskets with the new aluminum framed design before those infer... |

HUD specific glass has a thin wedge layer (thinner at the top) within the glass. Not a coating, and not applied after manufacturing the glass. There is a remarkable difference in viewing between HUD and non-HUD. HUD glass will give a brighter image and will not be out of focus or 'ghosted'. Non-HUD ... |

Locked for double-posting and posting in the wrong section. This one was moved from General Chat before I saw the other.
Do NOT double-post. It splits your replies and divides your responses into two topics that some might miss. Do not post mechanical or electrical problems in General Chat. |

That is incorrect. In 92 and 93, it's a mechanical cable. Later years were an electric motor. Go play with yours. You can actually feel it pulling on the HUD when you adjust it. If yours is truly electrical, it was replaced at some time in the past with a HUD from a newer car. Most Bonnevilles don't... |

If the wires were cut, you wouldn't get 'stored' air from the valve in the trunk. That's the other half of the system, and is isolated by a selector valve from the struts. In other words, the compressor sends air to either of the systems depending on the mode selected by the switch in the trunk, nev... |

DIC first. A short would likely blow a fuse. You have an intermittent connection. Remove the cluster, disassemble it board by board (carefully) and put it back together. That will probably do it.
While it's out, you can inspect the mechanical cable between the adjust lever and HUD. |
