On the 2k, the RF motor mount actually attaches to the passenger side of the cast aluminum oil pan, just inside the RF A-arm behind the splash shield.

The fuel pressure regulator and plugs/wires are far more likely than injectors.

Injector failures are RARE.

Sure, until the slots plug up with pad material and can't clear themselves out because they're not relieved to the edge of the rotor. After about the first or second week, the slot is useless (unless relieved to the edge).

Think about how it works. Make sense?

First off, there are no 'tricks' to replacing it. Unplug it (squeeze the connector to mis-shape it, then pull it off), then use a socket or wrench to remove it. Unless you're building a monster, there's no benefit at all. They PERFORM exactly alike (S2/S3). Durability doesn't come into play until you're hammering out some serious power.

If the slot doesn't go all the way past the outer edge, it doesn't matter. The slot doesn't really do you any good anyway in that case. If the slot goes all the way to the edge, you want it the opposite of the picture above.

The rockers actually pivot over the top end and rub more area of the rod than the lifter for this reason. In addition, the cup under the rocker is fully supported, where the contact area on the lifter is far smaller. Normal. And I've never seen a pushrod fail to the point that it needed replacement....

It will clatter with or without the belt if it's the dampener (harmonic balancer/dampener). But it will shut up for a few seconds if you lightly roll into the throttle.

We have a GenV setup similar to that on the Forum. And when the PCV system fails, it fails in the OPEN (breathing/venting) position. And it's rare. Most of us replace our PCV's more often because they're so inexpensive. I can't recall any car I've ever owned having a PCV problem in the last 25 years...
