Re: Shaking above 60 mph
Balancing and strut work is good in the long run, but if you do anything with your struts where you disconnect them, you need to do an alignment. I had very similar shaking around 60mph for a few years. I got my car aligned at Griffin Brothers, since they do the laser alignment, and speed balanced ...

Re: Hood Latch Broken!!!!
Hi there!
I'm the guy with the original problem. No, I don't recommend the hole cutting. However, here are the pics and explanations I promised, regarding opening the latch from underneath.
This is a view of the stock hood latch on your car.

Re: Bonneville wont start?
Were there any other symptoms the last few times you drove it? Headlights dim, or dim instrument panel would point to battery, or perhaps the alternator. Or both? However, if you noticed a sudden loss of power, or sluggish acceleration, it's possible that your fuel filter could be clogged, or you ...

Re: changed the fuel pump....
Thanks for all the advice guys! I simply replaced the whole assembly that I got from the junk-yard. I'll have to do some investigating to see if I have any loose connections, and if not, I suppose I'll have to drop the tank again. I'll let you know what I find out!

changed the fuel pump....
I changed the fuel pump on my 92 SE, and now my gas guage always reads full. Is it most likely that the mechanism in the tank is bad, or some sort of sensor or what? The pump I installed is used. Is there a way to fix this without pulling the tank again? TIA!

Re: Gas leak at pipe coming out of tank
I'd just like to agree with everyone else. You're gonna need some long bolts, and i had to saw one of my straps off, on account of a rusted bolt. Also, I just changed my fuel pump this week, and it only required disconnecting the two exhaust hangers in the rear on either side of the muffler. P.S. It ...

Re: Hood Latch Broken!!!!
Thank you very much for the reply! I regret to say, however, that since no one replied for so long, I used a dremel tool and a reciprocating saw and cut a hole in my hood, just large enough to fit my hand through to unhook the latch. I plan to post photos of exactly how to get into a hood if the ...

Hood Latch Broken!!!!
My hood latch won't open! I tried to pull the cable with a pair of pliers, but that won't work either. I'm not sure if the cable is broken, or what the problem is. Does anyone know an easy way to get the hood open? I certainly don't want to have to cut the latch off.

Re: Estimate to fix problems on 95
How long does replacing struts take?
I have never done it before.
It takes about an hour for the first one, then about 35-40 min for the second one, once you know how to do it. You also may want to look into replacing the strut bearings as well. I replaced my struts by themselves, but shortly ...

Changed the Struts, now what?
I changed the struts on the front of the Bonnie, and now what should I do? It was pulling to the left before I changed them, now it pulls slightly to the right? Any help would be appreciated!

Re: Electrical problems
Hi blue,
I had some voltage problems with mine pretty recently, you may want to get your alternator tested. Voltage would drop randomly, until finally, the alternator died on me on the way home, in a cloud of smoke, etc... Put in a new one, and haven't had a problem since. I have also noticed ...

Steering Problem!
I have a 92 Bonnie SE, and have been having some issues. There was a short period of time when I had some play in my steering wheel, that seemed to be resolved when I realized that my power steering fluid was low and filled it back up to the full level. Since then, I've been only having problems ...
