02 SSEI terrible gas mileage
I currently drive 45-50 one way to work running a pretty consistent 65-75mph. Lately I've noticed my mpg's drop, 23-24mpg is all I'm getting. I just want some ideas/guidance on where to start or things to try to fix my problem. I think it is the original cat. I figured I'd start with some small ...

Headlights won't work
In the past few days my headlights quit working. I interchanged 4 bulbs which not all four can be bad, one would think but still nothing. I check the fuses under the hood but didn't get to under the seat. I haven't had a lot of time to tear into it bc I drive an 2 hours in it each day but wanted ...

Re: Michelin Primacy MXV4
Great Tires! My grandparents put these on my 02 right before they gave it to me. That was 6 years ago and they still 8/10 tread left! The only problem is that they are weather checking and I will have to replace them soon.

Shift kit suggestions?
My PCS has been bad for a while now because I haven't really had the time to replace it. After some of the things I've read, a shift kit sounds like a better idea. Any suggestions on which one to buy or not to buy. I looked at the INTENSE link but I just want some other opinions.

EVAP vent valve and solenoid help!!
I have replaced the vent valve and purge solenoid and even cleaned the rust off around the gas cap (which didn't seem to me to be enough to cause a leak) and my service engine soon light is still on. Any suggestions or other causes?

Windows: you can buy just the motor check http://www.rockauto.com The regulator is what usually fails
Hard shift: Does it do it while the car is cold, warm, or all the time? Could be PCS sensor. I would do a trans pan drop replace filter and refill. While you have the pan drop you could look into ...

power windows slow, tranny hard shift, smells warm
I'm working on the 02 ssei I inherited from my grandparents. Had it about 3 years and I just wanted to work on the few issues I'm having.
1: The power windows seem slow to me. the driver side has a new motor and the passenger side I'm getting ready to replace the motor. Does the regulator need ...

Working on 02 SSEI that was givento me
A few years ago I inherited an 02 SSEI. Beautiful car with 167k, I still get compliments on it, grandma took care of it well. I'm starting to have a few issues and hate taking it to the dealer.
