I have a 99 SSEi with 135k. Engine is making very bad noises. Body and all other mechanicals in excellent shape. What I need is an excellent mechanic in Northern NJ to replace engine. Also will need engine. Any suggestions? Appreciate any help. Thanks, Charlie.

Does anyone know of a kit to convert the drum brakes on my 99 SSEi to disc? I actually had the vehicle for two months before I realized the back brakes were not discs. any help or info will be greatly appreciated.

Just picked up a complete service manual (Paper) for $15 on ebay. They also had several vendors that provide manual on DVD for less than $10. You have to use on computer but it beats working blind. Good Luck.

you will need a vacuum to evacuate the system after you have opened it up and replaced all the parts. You will also need a set of manifold gauges to properly charge the system with freon. I would probably not attempt this without the service manual for this vehicle. It can be obtained on CD on Ebay ...
