Absolutely! Got to give credit where credit is due ;) I was originally looking at Chrysler wheels but the offsets weren't quite right...

Re: My 2001 Buick LeSabre

Looks wonderful! Love those wheels on there. Totally change the look. Devin used to have one just like it, but supercharged and green.

Thank you, I happened upon an image of his car whilst researching wheel fitments and I was like Yahtzee! I'd definitely consider supercharging it and embracing ...

Re: My 2001 Buick LeSabre

Looks nice, got any more pics? Visual mods only, or is it a sleeper too?

Thanks, I'll snap a few more once I've given it a proper wash... The only thing I've done up to this point is gutted the air box and installed a K&N. Not planning on getting to crazy with this one. Up next will be urethane ...

Re: PCV Squeal?

Gotcha, I was assuming since you said you had a leak in the PVC area that's where the leak was. If you're getting a good amount of resistance to pull the oil cap off while it's running, you've definitely got a sizeable vacuum leak somewhere that's allowing the crankcase to create vacuum. I can't ...

Re: PCV Squeal?

If the O-rings are installed correctly, the only other option would be a vacuum leak at the UIM gasket there, or it's also possible that the end seals on the LIM didn't set in properly and are sucking in air on that side. Those are really the only spots I've experienced that will cause the ...

Re: PCV Squeal?

Check to make sure you have both O-rings installed. There's a black o-ring that goes on the PCV valve itself, and the orange o-ring mates to the housing that the MAP sensor attaches to. I can almost guarantee the o-rings will be your problem.

When I originally inspected the pcv area both o rings ...

PCV Squeal?

Good morning guys... I've got a 2001 LeSabre with an L36. I've done every type of search possible looking to a solution for this horrible squeal. I've replaced the pcv assembly with a Dorman #47033 (pic attached), removed and cleaned the throttle body, sea foamed the UIM through the fuel pressure ...

Re: Project 'Saber Tooth' LeSabre is coming along nicely ;)

Ahh ok... Good, chances are the ride will still be friendly with a firmer more sure footed feel.. shouldn't be harsh at all.. Overall it should make for a really good highway cruiser..

Which is exactly what I'm going for... Once I get the suspension dialed in, I'll probably look into a getting a ...

I understand what you want from the car tho... Road trips are how my 95 SE Bonneville ended up with 200,000 miles...lol

Re: Project 'Saber Tooth' LeSabre is coming along nicely ;)

Sweet, another LeSabre!

:beerchug:

What car did the F41 springs come from?

As well the larger sway bars and the poly bushings will make a difference in ride quality and cornering.. Personally I like stiffer springs as opposed to the FE1, but thats just my tastes.. I like a car that is firm ...

Re: Project 'Saber Tooth' LeSabre is coming along nicely ;)

I should say so!

Are you just doing the front swaybar or the rear also?? You'll definitely notice the difference in the cornering. I would also recommend stiffer springs too eventually to reduce front to back movement.

Should be a very nice upgrade regardless though.

I've been ...

You should try the Olds forum, there are tumbleweeds over there.

Re: My 98 LeSabre Custom

Great looking car!

It always amazes me how radically different Le Sabres look compared to Bonnevilles on the inside. From the inside of the car you'd never guess the two were related.

Thank you! Seriously! I've been looking at several 'Buick' message boards and none of them compare to the wealth ...

Great looking Lesabre! I love them in white.

Awesome, new pics!! Your LeSabre looks very good, and super clean! I guess it would be, having more than likely spent it's whole live in California. Much different than the cars on this side of the country.

For what it's worth my first ...
